Haiku

One who seeks himself
In the vastness of the world
Will only stay lost
by Me

Haiku is a great exercise in mindful speech as there are such limitations to how you can get your point across. I think I am going to continue to play with this as I contemplate the whole concept of right speech.

I've really found Shakespearean sonnets to be good for that too. And you can keep upping the ante. Not only do you have to deal with iambic pentameter and rhyme scheme, but they're long enough you can hide/code stuff into them. I've done that with a couple sonnets I wrote and it's a great challenge and really fun!

Thats still your best Haiku. I think you should include it in one of your paintings. Keep at it and post your favorites. XO
